PristineCollars began with a very real, very frustrating problem for founder, Roger. No matter how often he washed his white dress shirts or how carefully he treated them, the collars always came out looking worn, dingy, and permanently discolored. Roger tried every stain remover, detergent, and pretreatment he could find.
The turning point came when his dry-cleaner finally told him the truth: once sweat and body oils sink into the fibers of a white collar, the stain never truly comes out. That honesty sparked frustration — and inspiration. If the stain couldn’t be reversed, Roger realized the only real solution was to prevent it from happening at all.
That moment became the driving force behind PristineCollars. Instead of creating another “after-the-fact” cleaner, Roger set out to develop a way to protect the collar before it ever meets sweat or oils.
